New Calling

I have been the 2nd counselor since almost when I first got into young womans. I was sad when I got called to talk to one of the counselors, because I knew that I was going to be released, but when I found out that I was still going to stay in the presidency, I was so happy, because I have had the greatest time with my calling. So my new calling is the 1st counselor this time, and I'm so excited, and I just hope that I can do the best that I can. I've really been trying to make my girls feel welcome, and to help them want to come more to church, and I've been getting some girls to come more. I was really excited and i just wanted to share my excitement with you guys!

New Hair Cut

I just got a new hair cut yesterday. I cut it just above my shoulders! So I want you to tell me what you think, if you like it better long...... or short..... or both.

I don't really know why I decided to cut it short again, because last time i did, i liked it for a while, and then wanted my long hair back, so i hope it works out this time!!!!!!!!!!! I think that this is the shortest I have cut it and the shortest I have had it, not counting when i was younger and my hair didn't grow so i looked like a boy!!! So I really want to know that you guys think!!

Dance!!

i know i haven't written anything for a while.... sorry guys, but i'm writing now!!!!! so about 4 weeks ago i started jazz attitude. you know what i thought was really funny? Everybody told me that it would be absolutely TERRIBLE but the first day i went, i didn't think that it was that bad...... well except for the running part of course. the worst part about the running though, is that we run up this road, and it seems like we'll NEVER reach the top, it's like a never ending road, but when we get back it feels so good. i am proud to announce that conditioning has gotten me a little more flexible, and i can't wait to start technique class next week. tomorrow i'll find out what team i made, so i'll put up a post tomorrow about what team i made! also starting next week is dance co, and i am way excited. it is every day from 8:00 until 12:00 plus with jazz attitude on top of it twice a week for a hour a half each time. i figured it out, and in two weeks, i will be doing 36 hours of dancing!! i can't wait!!!

Soccer Game

I already told you about Sadie and the laser beam, so i thought that I would tell you some other funny events this week!! Well, we were at Avery's soccer game this past Saturday (indoor) and there are mats piled up on the sides of the field. So there are straps hanging off of the sides of the mats, and the mats are piled up really high on top of carts with wheels on the bottom of them. Austin pulled on one of the straps and, the mats started tilting over and they almost fell over on him (he claimes that he didn't pull THAT hard, but obviousley he did or they wouldn't have come down on top of him!!) I was trying very hard not to laugh (ok I wasn't) because he was panicking and it looked so ridiculous. Plus, kids and adults were passing by as they were skating (there is ice all the way around the two fields) were laughing and pointing at him to, and that just made me laugh even harder!! Then a guy that was skating was going by and decided to help the poor kid. He said, though that he would take his time taking off his skates so that he could learn his lesson (Ok then, he must have heard it from his mom a lot?!) so then he helped him but it was just so funny!! We didn't let him forget about it for a while.

You know the laser beams? Well mom bought one of them at the pet store, so that Sadie could chase it around on the floor. So I took it out to see if she would chase it, and.... she did!! It was hilarious!! She would sit on the floor with her head on her paws, and watch it for a second, and then when it got nearer to her, she would pounce! It reminded me of a lion at dinner time. It was just really cute, because when she did catch it, she would try to figure out why she couldn't grab it. So, we tried it out on Sugar to see if she would, and either

1) she was to lazy to chase it at the time
2) she didn't think it looked to much fun
3) she'd already figured it out, and just wanted to watch Sadie being suckered!!

Which one do you think it is!!
